  • Home Stretch for Wisconsin Supreme Court Race

Home Stretch for Wisconsin Supreme Court Race

You probably know that balance of the Wisconsin Supreme Court is at risk. This election pits Susan Crawford, a current Wisconsin circuit court judge endorsed by all current liberal judges on the court, against Brad Shimel, a Musk-backed Republican who is currently a sitting judge. If Crawford wins, liberals will lock in their majority for at least three more years.

We helped elect Janet Protasiewicz and let’s do the same for Susan Crawford.

  • Protect the CFPB Rally

    Protect the CFPB Rally

We count on the CFPB (Consumer Finance Protection Bureau) to provide:

    • Financial safety and stability
    • A bulwark against another financial crisis
    • Access to safe banking products
    • Protections from digital payment scams and telemarketers

Indivisible Chicago and the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU) call on Congress to step up and protect the CFPB and vote NO on any budget proposal that does not require the Executive branch to maintain the CFPB.

  • No Votes for the Coup

    No Votes for the Coup

The Trump Administration is out of control, attempting to exercise a mandate they do not have to dismantle our government and harm our neighbors. They are attempting to take power from Congress by canceling federal loans and grants, firing nearly all workers at USAID, shutting down the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and giving unelected billionaire Elon Musk access to the Treasury and our personal information.

Democrats cannot be complicit in Trump’s coup. If Democrats join Republicans in helping fund the government when the next federal funding bill is up for a vote, that is enabling Trump to continue with his plans to trample the Constitution.

If you have an Illinois Democratic Representative, send a letter telling them to vote NO on any funding bills, not trade their vote for concessions by the Republicans, and force the Republicans to pass their own funding bill.
