We count on the CFPB (Consumer Finance Protection Bureau) to provide:
- Financial safety and stability
- A bulwark against another financial crisis
- Access to safe banking products
- Protections from digital payment scams and telemarketers
Indivisible Chicago and the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU) call on Congress to step up and protect the CFPB and vote NO on any budget proposal that does not require the Executive branch to maintain the CFPB.
