    Time: 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Location: Sulzer Regional Library, 4455 N Lincoln Ave., Chicago (Study room A on second floor)

With the midterm elections looming, it’s time to take back control of Congress. The national election is a mere 12 months away!

Please join us at a meeting of the Indivisible Lincoln Square Election Committee to strategize and plan how best to reach voters who will determine the future direction of the country.

Illinois is located within driving distance of two swing states, Wisconsin and Michigan.

In Wisconsin, our efforts have been crucial in flipping and keeping the Wisconsin Supreme Court progressive with the elections of Janet Protasiewicz and Susan Crawford.

Michigan canvassing starts Sunday, November 16, 2025 with “deep canvassing” which means, we will be doing more listening than talking, asking voters to share their views with us.

    Let’s do this!

  • Write postcards to rally progressives in TN special election

Write postcards to rally progressives in TN special election

There is still time to show off your postcard writing prowess.

We have an opportunity to flip Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District on December 2nd. This is an open seat following the retirement of GOP Rep. Mark Green in July. Democratic candidate Aftyn Behn won the Democratic primary last month, and she has a chance to shock the world by winning this fairly Republican district. The race is within 10 points — you could be the difference!

Once you sign up, you’ll be mailed your free postcards within three days, so you should receive them within about a week or sooner. Included will be a voter list and instructions with three short message options. You’ll have until Nov 17 or Nov 21 to mail the postcards depending on the instructions you receive. As always, you’re responsible for providing the Postcard Stamps (currently $0.61).

    Chicago shows up 250,000 strong

    made our signs

squeezed onto packed CTA trains and buses filled with fellow marchers

    flooded Grant Park

    cheered speakers we couldn’t see

and loudly jeered as we passed Trump Tower

    Good job, Chicago!

  • What comes next after the largest single-day protest

What comes next after the largest single-day protest

Our pro-democracy movement is surging. Now it’s up to each of us to channel this incredible energy into the organizing power it will take to win.

Join us on Tuesday night at 8pm ET/5pm PT for a mass call of movement leaders and activists to discuss what’s next.

Protests serve many purposes — they change the narrative, they grow our movement, they show people reeling under the weight of the regime’s atrocities that they are not alone.

But a single day of protest — even the largest single-day protest we’ve seen in our lifetimes — will not overcome the fascist onslaught we face.

It’s going to take ongoing, strategic organizing — exactly the kind of organizing Indivisible was created to foster — to deliver us from tyranny.

  • Call our Illinois senators and tell them to hold the line in this Trump Shutdown

Call our Illinois senators and tell them to hold the line in this Trump Shutdown

If you are not from Illinois but would like to contact your senators, use national Indivisible’s portal.

With historic healthcare cuts and cost increases approaching, Republicans chose to force a Trump Shutdown rather than address the healthcare crisis or put checks on Trump’s lawless power-grabs. So far, all but three Senate Dems and Independents — Cortez Masto, Fetterman, and King — have held the line against Republicans’ dangerous budget. Call our Illinois senators to thank them for holding the line. You are behind them as long as they continue to fight!

    Did you hear us?

Lincoln Square turned out in force for our first Chicagoland Day of Action!

More than forty Indivisible Lincoln Square volunteers rallied at key intersections last Sunday and were greeted by a chorus of honks and cheers from neighbors.

And we weren’t alone—Indivisible chapters across the city took action too. Check out ABC’s coverage of the city-wide day of action here and catch our Instagram reel here.

  • Chalk the walk for Hands Off Chicago/No Kings

Chalk the walk for Hands Off Chicago/No Kings

Neighbors in Ravenswood Garden have organized a neighborhood-wide chalking effort to help build awareness of the HANDS OFF CHICAGO/NO KINGS DAY rally on October 18 from 12 noon-3:00 pm at Butler Field/Grant Park. This is a fun and easy activity that really can help if you are looking for something constructive to do!

You may know that one goal for the upcoming HANDS OFF CHICAGO/NO KINGS DAY rally on October 18th is to double the number of participants who turned out for the June event. With June participation estimated around 4.5- 5 million people, national Indivisible organizers are hoping for at least 10 million participants nationwide this fall. To accomplish this, we need A LOT of publicity and encouragement to get folks out and rallying!

We have less than 4 weeks until the October 18th rally – we are hoping to continue the chalking effort each week until the event. Want to participate? It’s easy!

Fill out this form to let the organizers know you are interested in participating.

Information on where and what to chalk will be sent to you. The goal is to spread ourselves out and around the neighborhood, so we are not all chalking the same concentrated area. In general, areas to chalk include around L stops, schools, parks, coffee shops, stores, etc. Anywhere you usually travel is good!
